Newborn Tips

New mothers need plenty of rest, good nutrition and water, as well as emotional support.  The laundry can wait.

Breast-feeding is best but there is no guilt in bottle-feeding with nutritious formulas.

Avoid “showing them off” until they are 3 months or older, especially during cold and flu season.

Place them on their back to sleep and to lessen the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.
